Its exceptionally rich colour heralds the aromatic power and softness<br />that are later found during tasting. The barrique has exceptionally developed the spicy scents with very clear notes ranging from pepper to cloves, from nutmeg to brown<br />tobacco, from aniseed to liquorice. These initial sensations are accompanied by and reveal further fruity aromas of jam, cooked apple, prune, almond and walnut.
