Grappa di Barolo Riserva 1991<br /><br />VINE: Nebbiolo da Barolo.<br />ALCOHOL CONTENT: 50% by volume.<br />BOTTLE VOLUME: 70cl.<br />AGING: passages in six types of small barrels of different woods.<br />BOTTLES USED: barrel n.1243 and n.1372.<br />TASTING: the prolonged ageing gives this selected grappa reserve a unique sensory mark. Its exceptionally rich colour heralds the aromatic power and softness that are later found during tasting. The barrique has exceptionally developed the spicy scents with very clear notes ranging from pepper to cloves, from nutmeg to brown tobacco, from aniseed to liquorice.<br />BOTTLES PRODUCED: from barrel n.1243 n.570 bottles and from barrel n.1372 n.851 bottles<br />PACKAGING: all bottles, rigorously numbered by hand, are presented in an elegant oak box, which gives the packaging a touch of sobriety.<br /><br />

The barrique has exceptionally developed the spicy scents with very clear notes ranging from pepper to cloves, from nutmeg to brown tobacco, from anise to liquorice. These initial sensations are accompanied by and reveal further fruity aromas of jam, baked apple, prune, almond and walnut. Then another floral hint of honey, all in an extremely frank whole.<br />BOTTLES PRODUCED: at keg no. 250 n.442 bottles and from keg no. 1348 n.464 bottles.<br />PACKAGING: All bottles, rigorously numbered by hand, are presented in an elegant oak box, which gives the packaging a touch of sobriety.<br /><br />

The grapes are distilled according to the 'Tosolini method' fresh from the harvest to preserve the aromas and scents that reveal a soft, balanced and extremely aromatic<br />brandy. Only the best Moscato grapes are selected by the Tosolini family exclusively in the production area of the Venezie. The intense rose aroma and the hint of acacia<br />honey result in a pleasant grape with a harmonious aftertaste.<br /><br />Variety: from fresh pomace from Muscat grapes<br />Alcohol content: 40% vol.<br />Artisanal distillation: in traditional steam boilers.<br />Maturation: 6 months in steel containers<br />Colour: crystal white<br />Body: intense<br />Sensory profile: intense aromas of roses and sweet hints of acacia honey; sweet and smooth taste with a pleasant and harmonious aftertaste. The Pinot Noir grape is a majesty among South Tyrol's red wine grapes. Its intense bouquet of red berries, violets and spices forms an elegant and sophisticated taste<br />profile. The unpressed grape peels of this noble variety sourced from South Tyrol's most renowned wine producers were gently distilled in small water bath alembics by our<br />master distiller in autumn 2012. In autumn 2013, the noble distillate was placed into small oak barrels for refinement in order to mature into an extraordinary XO grappa.<br />After more than 88 months of aging this grappa appears elegant, delicate and expressive with ripe notes of dried fruit, honey and spices.<br />PINOT L'OR DE NOIR XO is a special grappa to be enjoyed in small sips, combined with dark chocolate or as an accompaniment to a cigar.<br />Limited Edition.<br /><br />Aging: over 88 months in barrique<br />
