Lugana 2025 CA'DEI FRATI...

I Frati
Lugana Doc

The wine that has made the company's image known and continues to do so. It has a direct link with its variety, Turbiana, our indigenous vine. Conceived to be consumed during the year, it expresses its best side many years after bottling. In its youth it is fresh, linear and endowed with great finesse and elegance with delicate notes of white flowers and balsamic, hints of apricot and almond. Time allows it to evolve, expressing its mineral notes with greater determination. The wine acquires its own complexity with hints of iodine, spices and candied fruit. In the mouth it is capable of enveloping the whole palate thanks to an important savoury essence accompanied by lively and exuberant acidity. When young, it is best served at a temperature of around 10 degrees, with cold or warm but delicate hors d'oeuvres and with boiled, steamed or grilled fish dishes.
Technical data

Grape varieties used: Turbiana 100%.
Soil composition: calcareous - clayey
Training system: Simple and double Guyot
Planting system: 2.30 x 0.70
Yield per hectare: 90 quintals
Type of vinification: steel
Malolactic: Not carried out
Ageing and development: in steel on fine lees for a minimum of 6 months, followed by 2 months in bottle

Cabernet Franc Riserva...

Cabernet Franc Riserva...

Cabernet Franc has been cultivated in Kurtatsch since the founding years of the winery in 1900, thanks to the southern location and favourable exposure of the area. The
warm microclimate and well-drained soils provide ideal conditions for the ripening of this noble grape variety.

VENTIS, derived from the Latin word for wind, impresses with a pronounced, multi-layered and spicy aromatic profile, complemented by subtle notes of dark berries.
Ethereal nuances of mint and juniper intertwine with pepper, liquorice and red currants, creating a clear alpine character. On the palate, the wine is fresh and precise:
vibrant acidity and exceptionally smooth tannins lend tension and drinkability, making VENTIS already expressive yet approachable in its youth. Blauburgunder St. Valentin...

Blauburgunder St. Valentin...
South Tyrol DOC
Pinot Noir Riserva
Sanct Valentin

Pinot Noir has been cultivated in South Tyrol since 1850 and is also known in many places as Pinot Noir. It is the winery's most important red wine. This grape variety is a
very special challenge for the winemaker, as it is very demanding in terms of soil and climate, and must also be processed with special care in the cellar. For the Pinot Noir
Sanct Valentin, which has been part of the prestige line since 1995, only grapes from the best vineyards and oldest vines are used. Extremely low yields and the greatest
care produce an elegant and highly sensual wine, characterised by structure, balance and fine tannins.

Eye: ruby red
Nose: small red berries, strawberry, violet, smoky notes, cinnamon.
Taste: spicy, smooth, elegant and seductive
Variety description: Pinot noir
Growing site: older vineyards in St. Michael-Eppan and surroundings (400-550 m)
Exposure: south-southeast to south-southwest
Soils: moraine rubble and limestone gravel soils
Method of cultivation: Guyot
Vine age: 8 to 26 years
Harvest: mid-September; harvest and grape selection by hand.
Vinification: Cold maceration (three days) followed by fermentation and soft pressing. Exilissi SELL Spätl....

Exilissi SELL Spätl....

Exilissi Sell 2007

Vintage: After an exceptionally mild winter, the vines sprouted earlier than ever before. April and May were also warmer than average, so that by mid-May the flowering was
already over in all locations. This 3-week advance in vegetation lasted until harvest. The cool August and a golden September proved it once again: The last weeks before
the harvest are decisive for the quality.
Whites and reds were able to ripen perfectly and were harvested at the optimal time. That is why the harvest took longer than ever before. The first grapes entered the
cellar on 21 August, the last on 24 October. All in all, it should be a very good vintage. The red wines promise to be the best of the last ten years.

Vinification: gentle pressing of the delicate grapes. Fermentation of the unclarified must in 500 l tonnequx, further 15 months of maturation in the same barrel. Bottled in
March 2009

Harvest conditions: a sunny and warm late autumn allowed the grapes to hang until mid-November, thus enabling the harvest of a very ripe grape.

Site/soil: Höfl unterm Stein in Söll near Tramin, situated on a south-eastern slope at 480 to 550 metres above sea level. On gravelly, loamy calcareous gravel soil, there are
both 30-year-old pergola plants and wire frames that are over 10 years old, which produce something unique with an extremely low yield of 25hl/ha.

Oenologist's notes: an enormously concentrated late harvest with intense aromas of sultanas, apricots and spices. Very smooth and long on the palate. Mineral components
can be found in the finish.

Variety list: 100% Gewürztraminer
Alcohol: 13.5% vol.
Acidity: 6.8g/l
Residual sugar: 140g/l
