Barolo Chinato<br />For about 21 days, small pieces of China Calissaia and China Succirubra bark are steeped in an infusion of alcohol and a very small amount of our classic Barolo. We<br />then add a mixture of aromatic spices including gentian root, rhubarb, cardamom seeds, sweet and bitter orange, cinnamon and others, which make up our historic<br />Family Recipe. To the aromatic extract thus obtained we finally add the right amount of our classic Barolo, a little sugar and alcohol and leave it to refine for at least 4<br />months in small stainless steel containers. After resting in the bottle for at least 2 months, our Barolo Chinato is ready to be enjoyed in the Piedmontese way, i.e. after<br />meals as a digestif.<br />

2018 CHATEAU CROIX MOUTON 'BORDEAUX SUPERIEUR'<br />THE YEAR.<br />The M printed on the label of this fine-tasting and fleshy Bordeaux Supérieur wine marks the personality and particularities of each vintage and changes colour every year.<br />This cuvée from Château Croix Mouton, which dominates the Dordogne, is made exclusively from Merlot, the emblematic grape variety of the right bank of the Garonne,<br />and has a deep ruby red colour with beautiful shiny reflections. On the palate, small, acidic red fruits (mainly red plum, cherry) follow one another. On the palate it is full-<br />bodied and juicy, full of charming finesse. This wine is best appreciated when young, when its fruity bouquet shows all its vivacity.<br />THE CHÂTEAU CROIX MOUTON ESTATE<br />Château Croix Mouton is located in the town of Lugon on the right bank of the Bordeaux River and covers almost 70 hectares of vines. It is owned by the Janoueix family<br />and thrives on the clayey soil of Carney Island. The 2019 grape varieties focus on Merlot (96%), complemented by Cabernet Franc (2.5%), Malbec (1%) and Petit Verdot<br />(0.5%). The vines are on average 38 years old. The planting density is about 3,600 to 6,000 vines per hectare.<br />The work in the vineyard is meticulous and includes tillage, grassing, thinning and some leaf thinning. After sorting at harvest, vinification takes place in concrete and<br />stainless steel tanks with openings and regular puncturing. Fermentation takes place under temperature control (maximum 26-27 °C). The maturation period is between<br />three weeks and one month. Maturation lasts between three and four months on the fine lees in barrels (20%) and in vats with or without wood (80%).<br />The top Bordeaux produced by the estate are pleasant, fruity wines that tend to be drunk at a young age. Gourmet and fleshy wines that are also quite accessible.<br />

The<br />maturatThe story of Ampélia is about a meeting, a challenge and a conviction.<br />In 1996, three years before acquiring the lands of Ampélia, François Despagne inherited the<br />Grand Corbin-Despagne estate from his family, making it the seventh generation of his<br />family at the helm of this Saint-Emilion property.<br />François then eagerly sought a new challenge and created a new vineyard -this time, not in<br />Saint-Emilion, but in Castillon - Côtes de Bordeaux, the bordering appellation.ion period is between three weeks and one month. Epokale was the first Italian white wine to be awarded 100 points by Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. This wine contradicts the classic idea of a South Tyrolean<br />Gewürztraminer, redefines boundaries and impressively shows what this great variety is capable of.<br />Mild temperatures in spring brought about an early start of vegetation. The summer months were decidedly sunny and dry. Cool nights ensured that the physiological<br />ripeness could nevertheless develop in a balanced way. Thanks to a cool September, the ripening process was delayed so that an excellent harvest with optimally ripened<br />grapes took place.
