Gentle processing. Controlled fermentation in steel tanks. Maturation and ageing in large wooden barrels.<br />Sensory characteristics: Bright ruby red. Fresh fruit with notes of cherries, violets and red fruits. Fruity, juicy and velvety with fine tannins and a long lasting finish.<br />Matching: South Tyrolean Marende with bacon, Italian starters and grilled fish as well as lamb, saddle of veal or poultry.<br />

Since 1985 it has represented our family's desire to produce a white wine with body,<br />complexity and longevity like the great red wines of our terroirs.<br />VINIFICATION AND AGING:<br />The Chardonnay is harvested in boxes, gently pressed and briefly decanted cold. It ferments and stays for 10 months on the lees in barriques made of only 1/3 new wood.<br />It then stays in the bottle.<br />NOTES:<br />Spicy, creamy, intense, persistent, ripe, still fresh, non-invasive wood. Long-lived. Produced in small quantities each year.<br />

VARIETY:<br />NEBBIOLO 100%<br />VINEYARDS:<br />Our Barolo is the result of a careful selection of Nebbiolo grapes from vineyards owned by our family, located in different positions within the Barolo area: in Serralunga<br />d'Alba (Cascina Ornato, La Serra and Briccolina), in Grinzane Cavour (Gustava and Garretti), in La Morra (Roncaglie), in Novello (Ravera) and, since the 2015 harvest, in<br />Monforte d'Alba (Mosconi).<br />VINIFICATION:<br />In steel. Maceration on the skins for about 30 days at fairly high temperatures.<br />AGING:<br />In French and Slavonian oak barrels for about 30 months and a small part in barriques.<br />NOTES:<br />A very classic style Barolo: elegance and finesse, ripe and spicy fruit, important but not overpowering tannins, good structure and concentration. I Frati<br />Lugana Doc<br /><br />The wine that has made the company's image known and continues to do so. It has a direct link with its variety, Turbiana, our indigenous vine. Conceived to be consumed<br />during the year, it expresses its best side many years after bottling. In its youth it is fresh, linear and endowed with great finesse and elegance with delicate notes of white<br />flowers and balsamic, hints of apricot and almond. Time allows it to evolve, expressing its mineral notes with greater determination. The wine acquires its own complexity<br />with hints of iodine, spices and candied fruit. In the mouth it is capable of enveloping the whole palate thanks to an important savoury essence accompanied by lively and<br />exuberant acidity.
