The Grand Régnard is produced each year, in limited quantities, from a selection of the best crus<br />to bring out the best characteristics of the area using only the first pressing and the 'jus de goutte'.<br /><br />Soil: marly and calcareous-clayey with the subsoil characterised by the presence of fossils.<br /><br />Grape varieties: 100% chardonnay<br /><br />Characteristics of the Cru: Exposure: west<br /><br />Age: 35-year-old vines.<br /><br />Tasting notes:<br />Straw yellow colour with bright, shining reflections. We find intense aromas of tropical fruits, apricot and rennet apple on the nose. On the palate, it is a full-bodied wine with<br />great intensity, in which the mineral notes and freshness are on display, confirming the great and typical characteristics of the best Chablis.<br />

CLOUDY BAY<br />SAUVIGNON<br />Pure, fresh and vibrant<br /><br />With its extraordinary aromas, Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc was an instant success when it appeared on the market in 1985. This wine put New Zealand on the global wine<br />map and made Sauvignon Blanc famous as a single varietal wine. More than 80 expressions of 98 parcels are used in its creation, with yields kept low to produce a wine<br />with a concentrated aroma. The winemaking process aims to preserve and enhance the fresh, fruity notes, using selected yeasts and stainless steel vats, along with a small<br />percentage of barrel fermentation to give structure but without hinting of oak.<br />TASTING NOTES<br />Intense and vibrant, with aromas of ripe passion fruit, white peach and a hint of lime. Thus, the varietal composition and character change slightly each year. The<br />juice was extracted after a 24-hour maceration period and the must fermented in wooden barrels, partly spontaneously with the grape's own yeasts. During the five-month<br />wooden barrel maturation on the fine lees, the aroma and taste refined.<br />Serving temperature: 10 -12 °C.<br />Goes well with: spicy starters, fried and smoked fish, white and grilled meat.<br />

The iconic wine behind the Cloudy Bay tale<br /><br />Defined New Zealand's wine and established the Marlborough wine region globall.<br /><br />For its 35th vintage, Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc celebrates in style with this elegant classic. 2019 provided the ideal conditions to make the style of wine for which Cloudy<br />Bay is famous - bright, vibrant, with an elegant balance of tropical and citrus characters.<br /><br />Nose<br />Immediately expressive in the glass, with notes of bright, ripe citrus, makrut lime, passionfruit and white peach.<br />Palate<br />The palate is vibrant and mouthwatering, with concentrated juicy tropical notes, underpinned by a lively grapefruit acidity, carrying the intense fruit characters<br /><br />Harvest<br /><br />The Sauvignon Blanc harvest commenced on March 15th and was completed on April 2nd, the earliest finish to a Sauvignon Blanc harvest in the 34 years since Cloudy Bay<br />was founded. Fruit was picked with ripe flavour and a delicious concentration.<br />Vinification<br /><br />Following the harvest, the free-run was cold-settled, before racking and inoculation with selected yeast. Fermentation was carried out primarily in stainless steel tanks, with<br />approximately 5% of the blend fermented at warmer temperatures in old French oak vats.
