La Rose de Manincor - absolute elegance
...for certain hours: Spring and summer are the seasons for this fruity wine of richness and juiciness, whose colour alone fires the imagination.
Grape varieties: Lagrein, Merlot, Cabernet, Pinot Noir, Petit Verdot, Tempranillo, Syrah.
Colour: bright salmon red.
Aroma and taste: delicate scent of raspberries and cherries on the nose, juicy and creamy on the palate, long-lasting with fine tannin and mineral-fruity finish.
Site and soil: our best red wine sites in Manincor and at Seehof, south-eastern slopes at 250 m above sea level with strong clay soils, interspersed with limestone gravel
and other glacial rock deposits.
Vinification: La Rose de Manincor is the juice extract from the best red wine batches each year. Thus, the varietal composition and character change slightly each year. The
juice was extracted after a 24-hour maceration period and the must fermented in wooden barrels, partly spontaneously with the grape's own yeasts. During the five-month
wooden barrel maturation on the fine lees, the aroma and taste refined.
Serving temperature: 10 -12 °C.
Goes well with: spicy starters, fried and smoked fish, white and grilled meat.
