TYPE: AOC Sauternes Premier Cru<br />PRODUCTION AREA: The vineyards of the Sauternes appellation are located on the left bank of the Garonne, about 50 km south of Bordeaux.<br />GRAPE VARIETIES: 83% Sémillon, 17% Sauvignon<br />SOIL TYPE: Clay-sandy soil.<br />VINIFICATION: All batches are pressed individually using a low-capacity pneumatic press. After several hours of cold settling, the must is fermented in new oak barrels<br />produced by Tonnellerie des Domaines in Pauillac. Alcoholic fermentation is interrupted as soon as the desired balance between alcohol and sugar is achieved. After<br />fermentation, the wine is aged in barrels for 24 months.<br />COLOUR: Delicately golden with green highlights.<br />NOSE: The nose is intense and richly aromatic. Initial notes of citrus zest are followed by hints of lemon cake, then toasted notes reminiscent of freshly baked brioche.<br />FLAVOUR: On the palate, there are aromas of mandarin peel and candied orange, enriched by a touch of star anise that emphasises the aromatic freshness of this wine.<br />The rich and dense mouthfeel has good length with a nice bitter finish.<br />

<br />TYPOLOGY: Port<br />PRODUCTION AREA: Douro<br />RAW MATERIAL: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinto Cão, Tinta Francisca, Tinta Amarela, Sousão, Tinta Roriz and others.<br />VINIFICATION: The grapes used to produce the LBV Port come from the vineyards of Cima Corgo, an area located above the Corgo River in the Douro region. The<br />grapes are pressed in the traditional tanks called lagares, followed by maturation of the Port in large old oak vats in the cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia.<br />COLOUR: intense ruby<br />BOUQUET: Intense aroma of wild fruits, spices, notes of dark chocolate, with a slight floral profile, making it a refined and very expressive Port wine<br />PAIRINGS: perfect with desserts in which chocolate predominates, especially dark chocolate. This wine put New Zealand on the global wine<br />map and made Sauvignon Blanc famous as a single varietal wine. More than 80 expressions of 98 parcels are used in its creation, with yields kept low to produce a wine<br />with a concentrated aroma. The winemaking process aims to preserve and enhance the fresh, fruity notes, using selected yeasts and stainless steel vats, along with a small<br />percentage of barrel fermentation to give structure but without hinting of oak.<br />TASTING NOTES<br />Intense and vibrant, with aromas of ripe passion fruit, white peach and a hint of lime.
