Epokale was the first Italian white wine to be awarded 100 points by Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. This wine contradicts the classic idea of a South Tyrolean<br />Gewürztraminer, redefines boundaries and impressively shows what this great variety is capable of.<br />Mild temperatures in spring brought about an early start of vegetation. The summer months were decidedly sunny and dry. Cool nights ensured that the physiological<br />ripeness could nevertheless develop in a balanced way. Thanks to a cool September, the ripening process was delayed so that an excellent harvest with optimally ripened<br />grapes took place. The compact structure with elegant melting makes for a spicy, long-<br />lasting, punchy mineral finish.<br />

At the same time, the overall impression on<br />the nose is rounded off by spicy-mineral flinty notes.<br />Taste: On the palate, this wine proves its importance. It captivates with a supple, taut structure. Its spicy, mineral, juicy hints give the wine its own strong terroir character.<br />
