Cabernet Sauvignon 375ml...

CABERNET SAUVIGNON

This variety needs no introduction and has also found much space in Friuli. The low yields and strong stripping favour a more 'southern' maturation. Maceration is not too
long and during this phase great care is taken to separate the grape seeds. The result is a wine with an intense colour, warm aromas and a rounded taste, where the tannin
expresses itself above all with elegance.

Grape variety: Cabernet Sauvignon
Denomination: IGT Venezia Giulia
Municipality of production: San Lorenzo - Corona - Romans (Gorizia)
Soil type: calcareous gravelly plateau (60/25 m asl)
Vineyard: Cultivated with organic fertilisation and integrated pest management (as per EU regulations) with no chemical weed control
Average age of vines: 15 years
Training system: Guyot 5.200 - 5.600 vines/ha
Production: 50 - 55 hl/ha
Harvesting: By hand with careful selection of the grapes
Alcohol content: 13%.
Serving temperature: 18 °C
Bottles produced: 110,000 (average)
Ageing potential 10 years
Pomino Benefizio Riserva...

Pomino Benefizio Riserva...

Pomino Bianco Riserva DOC

'On the road to Pomino I am thrilled every time I discover this unique corner of Tuscany: hills and cypresses suddenly give way to steep slopes, cooler temperatures in
summer and snow in winter, magnificent forests of firs and centuries-old sequoias surrounding the vineyards of Chardonnay, planted here since 1855. At an altitude of 700
metres, the Cru Benefizio, the first white wine in Italy fermented and aged in barriques, was born in 1973.'

Climatic trend
The 2021 season will be remembered as a dynamic vintage. After a rainy and mild winter, which had led to a slight advance in budding, temperatures dropped sharply at the
beginning of April, slightly slowing the growth of the buds. From May onwards, temperatures began to rise again, leading to a summer that will be remembered for both the
beautiful day-night temperature range and the long period of intense heat. The grapes presented themselves at harvest in a perfect state of health, thanks to the mild
temperatures and low humidity.

Vinification and ripening
The Benefizio vineyard is located at an altitude of 700 m above sea level, with a southern exposure and predominantly sandy soil. The Chardonnay grapes were harvested in
boxes by hand with extreme care and attention. Once they arrived in the cellar, the pressing they underwent was extremely soft and gentle, allowing a good extraction of
clear must, which was further clarified after cold decantation. The musts thus obtained were placed in barriques, 50% new and 50% first-passage, where they underwent
alcoholic fermentation and only partially malolactic fermentation. Subsequently, the wine matured in wood, on the lees, with bâtonnage carried out as required. After further
bottle ageing, Benefizio Riserva reached its maximum taste-olfactory expression in terms of elegance and harmony.

Tasting notes
Elegance, expressiveness and body. Benefizio 2021 presents a wonderful straw yellow colour with golden highlights. The bouquet is varied, presenting hints of white fruit
such as pear, exotic fruit notes such as mango, banana and pineapple and more citrus notes of candied citron. The citrus sensation is also picked up by hints of orange
blossom. On the palate it is savoury and mineral, with an elegant and harmonious finish; the aromatic intensity perceived on the palate is amplified by the alcohol content
and the aftertaste of dried fruit. Persistent and long finish.
Chianti Riserva NIPOZZANO...

Chianti Riserva NIPOZZANO...

Nipozzano Riserva 2019
Chianti Rufina Riserva DOCG

An emblematic wine from Castello Nipozzano, a historic Frescobaldi estate a few kilometres north-east of Florence, Nipozzano Riserva is the symbol of the Tuscan
winemaking tradition and the indissoluble bond with the terroir.

Climatic trends
At Castello Nipozzano, winter 2019 was characterised by long periods of sunshine with low temperatures. Spring, on the other hand, was cool, and the rains that fell
ensured good water reserves to face the hot summer days. The summer period was characterised by temperature fluctuations that helped to provide coolness during the
night, with the usual breezes from the slopes of the Apennines contributing in particular. The grapes were therefore accompanied to ripening by a combination of the warmth
of the sun and refreshing breezes; the bunches arrived at the harvest in perfect condition and the production expressed itself in wines typical of the area, marked by a good
acidic vein and silky tannins.

Technical notes
Variety: Sangiovese and complementary varieties
Alcoholic grade: 13.5%.

Vinification and maturation
The grapes, as soon as they were harvested, were immediately delivered to the cellar. Here, once destemmed, the spontaneous fermentation process took place in
thermoregulated stainless steel tanks. At the end of this, the wine remained in the vats to complete maceration. Following racking, malolactic fermentation took place, also
conducted in stainless steel. At the end of the year, the wine was racked into barriques, where it matured for the following months. The further period in bottle allowed
Nipozzano 2019 to express itself to the full, making it a wine of exceptional expressive balance.

Tasting notes
Nipozzano 2019 presents a lively ruby red colour. The nose is characterised by fruity scents such as wild berries, black cherry and elegant floral notes; wonderful freshness
expressed through balsamic hints. This is followed by roasted and spicy notes of pepper, nutmeg and coffee. The palate is rich, characterised by the elegant density of the
fruit and the final mineral freshness that make it balanced and persistent. The tannic texture is dense but not scratchy. The taste-olfactory correspondence is splendid.
Pratto 2020 IGT Benaco BS...
Pratto

Pratto represents a challenge that we wanted to take up, going beyond conventional schemes while maintaining unaltered respect for the territory. In this late harvest, the
aromaticity of Sauvignon vinified in stainless steel, the softness of Chardonnay and the finesse of Turbiana meet harmoniously with an exclusive result. The nose shows
notes of tropical fruit accompanied by a vegetality and minerality that enhance the finesse and elegance with a very communicative impact that induces salivation stimulating
the taste. On the palate it is rich with an exquisitely sweet attack followed by perfectly balanced acidity and flavour, and finally the fruity and mineral notes return. Ideal with
structured starters such as crostini with foie gras and also with delicate but richly flavoured first courses, light and white meats and fish with aromatic herbs.
Perfect with mature cheeses.
Technical data

Grape varieties used: Turbiana, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc
Soil composition: calcareous - clayey
Training system: Guyot and spurred cordon
Planting system: 2.30 x 0.70
Yield per hectare: 80 quintals
Type of vinification: Steel
Malo/actic: Not carried out
Ageing and development: In steel on fine lees 12 months, followed by two months in bottle
Alcohol content: 13.5%.
Total acidity: 6.60 g/L
Volatile acidity: 0.35 g/L
pH: 3.10
Dry extract: 21.5 g/L
Nosiola CESCONI 750ml IGT

Nosiola CESCONI 750ml IGT

Nosiola is the only autochthonous white variety in Trentino, present since the time of the Council of Trent. The origin of the name has not yet been clarified. Many maintain
that it derives its name from hazelnut, due to the colour of the grapes when ripe, while others believe that it is the aroma of the wines that recalls that of wild hazelnuts.
What we do know is that it is a versatile variety, which like few others in the world can produce both great sweet wines and still white wines with a savoury character that
can age for many decades.

Once widespread throughout the province, Nosiola was mainly grown on the Pressano hill and in the Valle dei Laghi. In recent times, the variety has undergone a major
downsizing in favour of international varieties to the extent that it has become almost 'rare'. Today it covers a cultivated area of only 65 hectares. As winegrowers, attached
to our territory and our traditions, we are happy to contribute to its preservation.

Type of wine: White wine
Format: (Litres) 0.75
Production area: Nosiola is planted in the highest vineyards on the edge of the forest at an altitude of about 500 metres to the north-east of Pressano. Nosiola flowers early
and prefers high, well-ventilated and sunny areas. The vineyard is west-facing and has loose soil on a deep, fertile dolomite dejection cone. The vines have an average age of
35 years and are trained to the simple pergola system, with a density of about 3500 plants per hectare.
Vinification Part of the grapes are destemmed and macerated for 4-5 days until the 'cap rises'. At this point a cuvèe is made from the directly pressed grapes and
fermentation continues partly in stainless steel containers and partly in large acacia barrels. The acacia wood allows us to combine the advantages of vinification in wood
with the preservation of the fine and delicate bouquet of Nosiola. The wine remains in contact with its own yeast for about 9 months before being bottled at the end of the
summer.
