Intense rich fruity nose crammed with pure blackberry, cassis, cherry and plum aromas interwoven with notes of spice.<br />The palate full bodied and round, with a smooth velvety texture balanced by firm mouth filling tannins. The juicy black fruit flavours linger into the rich luscious finish.<br />Pairing suggestions<br />The rich black fruit flavours of Bin 27 are a perfect match for chocolate and berry fruit dishes. A chocolate fondant with strawberries makes a deliciously hedonistic<br />combination with Bin 27, the rich creamy chocolate and luscious ripe strawberries blending seductively with the blackcurrant and cherry fruitiness of the wine. Bin 27 is also<br />excellent served after a meal with bitter chocolate with a high cocoa content or a plate of chocolate brownies or truffles. Like all youthful red Ports, Bin 27 is an excellent<br />match for soft ripe cheeses and can be served on its own at the end of the meal or any other relaxed occasion in a generously proportioned wine glass.<br />Description<br />Although for connoisseurs and collectors Fonseca is synonymous with Vintage Port, to thousands of wine drinkers and Port lovers, the wine that springs to mind is Bin 27.<br />This rich and fruity reserve blend is sold all over the world and has a particularly loyal following in North America.<br />Fonseca Bin 27 was launched in Britain nearly 50 years ago, in 1972. At the time the market for Port was undergoing a profound change. Consumers were becoming more<br />knowledgeable and demanding in their choice of wine. No longer content with the simple young Ports that until then had accounted for much of consumption, they sought<br />more sophisticated and distinctive wines both to enjoy at home and when dining out.<br />

Cloudy Bay Chardonnay<br />comes from vineyards located in the sub-regions of Omaka, Brancott, Rapaura and Renwick and requires the same time and precision as a great Burgundy white: around 2<br />years of oak ageing.<br />TASTING NOTES<br />Immediately seductive and perfumed, with aromas of white peach, apricot, flowering trees and warm hay. The palate is concentrated and inviting: hints of apple and pear<br />balanced by vanilla, hazelnut and a delicate saline note. South Tyrolean Pinot Blanc<br />Schulthauser 2020<br /><br />Pinot Blanc, South Tyrol's most important grape variety, has awoken from its slumber and has become the region's flagship wine. Schulthauser is the classic among South<br />Tyrolean Pinot Blancs; it was first vinified and bottled in 1982. It is not a loud drop, but a consummate, finely fruity-fresh Pinot Blanc, which at the same time seduces with<br />creamy softness and racy acidity to enjoy.<br /><br />Grape variety: Pinot Blanc<br />Vine age: 10 to 40 years<br />Growing region: Site: Vineyards in 'Schulthaus' above Schloss Moos in Eppan/<br />Berg (540-620m)<br />Exposure: Southeast<br />Soils: Calcareous gravel soils with loam<br />Method of cultivation: Guyot<br />Harvest: Mid to late September, harvest and grape selection by hand.<br />Vinification: The majority (85%) is fermented in steel tanks, the rest in wooden barrels followed by<br />followed by biological acid reduction. Marchese Antinori Vinsanto Chianti Classico DOC 2016<br /><br />Climate: After an autumn and winter that tended to be mild and not very rainy, spring 2016 began with good weather in Chianti Classico, bringing bud break about 10 days<br />earlier than the historical average. Starting in May and during the first half of June, rainfall and average cool temperatures were recorded, but did not affect the decisive<br />phases of flowering and fruit set. The summer up to the end of August was hot, dry and without heat peaks: optimal conditions for maintaining an excellent vegetative-<br />productive balance and ensuring constant growth of the grapes. Harvesting took place between 7 and 10 September.<br /><br />Vinification: the grapes, sourced exclusively from the vineyards of the Antinori estates in Chianti Classico, were carefully selected and harvested in boxes; they were then<br />placed by hand on the special mats of the appassitoio (drying room) of the Tignanello estate or on the penzane of the Pèppoli estate (mobile frames where the bunches are<br />hung in suspension). The grapes, left to dry until the end of December, were then softly pressed in order to maintain their organoleptic and aromatic characteristics. The<br />must obtained was put into the typical 'caratelli', made from different types of wood and with a capacity varying between 50 and 200 litres, where the long, slow alcoholic<br />fermentation took place. The wine remained in the kegs for about 3 years and was then blended and finally bottled.<br /><br />Historical data: The production of Vinsanto in Tuscany dates back at least to medieval times: it is considered a true regional speciality and the Antinori family has always<br />produced it. The first vintage of Vinsanto Tenute Marchese Antinori (a 'natural' production vinsanto) was, however, 1987.<br /><br />Tasting Notes: The Marchese Antinori Vinsanto has a dark amber colour with golden reflections. On the nose sweet notes of dried fruit, such as hazelnut and date, combine<br />with an intense sensation of candied orange, honey, and a slight hint of cinnamon. On the palate it is full, soft, supported by a pleasant freshness that makes it lively and<br />pleasant. Good persistence on the palate.<br />

Nosiola CESCONI 750ml IGT

Nosiola is the only autochthonous white variety in Trentino, present since the time of the Council of Trent. The origin of the name has not yet been clarified. Many maintain<br />that it derives its name from hazelnut, due to the colour of the grapes when ripe, while others believe that it is the aroma of the wines that recalls that of wild hazelnuts.<br />What we do know is that it is a versatile variety, which like few others in the world can produce both great sweet wines and still white wines with a savoury character that<br />can age for many decades.<br /><br />Once widespread throughout the province, Nosiola was mainly grown on the Pressano hill and in the Valle dei Laghi. In recent times, the variety has undergone a major<br />downsizing in favour of international varieties to the extent that it has become almost 'rare'. Today it covers a cultivated area of only 65 hectares. As winegrowers, attached<br />to our territory and our traditions, we are happy to contribute to its preservation.<br /><br />Type of wine: White wine<br />Format: (Litres) 0.75<br />Production area: Nosiola is planted in the highest vineyards on the edge of the forest at an altitude of about 500 metres to the north-east of Pressano. Nosiola flowers early<br />and prefers high, well-ventilated and sunny areas. The vineyard is west-facing and has loose soil on a deep, fertile dolomite dejection cone. The vines have an average age of<br />35 years and are trained to the simple pergola system, with a density of about 3500 plants per hectare.<br />Vinification Part of the grapes are destemmed and macerated for 4-5 days until the 'cap rises'. At this point a cuvèe is made from the directly pressed grapes and<br />fermentation continues partly in stainless steel containers and partly in large acacia barrels. The acacia wood allows us to combine the advantages of vinification in wood<br />with the preservation of the fine and delicate bouquet of Nosiola. The wine remains in contact with its own yeast for about 9 months before being bottled at the end of the<br />summer.<br />
