The Côtes-du-Rhône appellation covers 41,200 hectares involving six departments.
Soil:
clay and limestone.
Grape varieties:
90% Syrah, 10% Grenache
Characteristics of the Cru:
EXPOSURE: north and south.
Vinification:
in closed vats for approximately fifteen days at controlled fermentation temperatures between 28 and 30°C.
After pressing and decanting, malolactic fermentation takes place in vats.
Ageing: eight months in wooden barrels.
Tasting notes:
A ruby red wine with violet highlights. The varietal aromas of Syrah predominate on the nose: red fruits, violets, liquorice.
On the palate, the roundness, breadth and finesse of this wine make it unique in its category.
