A wine like liquid light. And yet the essence remains invisible to the eyes, revealing itself only to the nose and mouth: the beguiling scent of roses in the vineyard awakens
the secrets of summer from their slumber and lingers on the tongue with sweet spice.
VINIFICATION
Late harvest of the fully ripe, partially dried grapes, 20-hour cold maceration, fermentation in wooden barrels, ten months of ageing on the fine lees in large wooden barrels.
SITUATION / SOIL
Höfl unterm Stein in Söll near Tramin, is a south-eastern slope situated at 480 to 550 m above sea level. On strong, loamy chalky gravel soil, there are both pergola plants
that are over 30 years old and wire frames that are over 10 years old, which produce unique wines with an extremely low yield of 40hl/ha.
