Arran Sauternes Cask Finish is a Single Malt left to age for around 8 years in ex-Bourbon oak casks and finished in ex-Sauternes casks from the Bordeaux region of
France. Arran's Master Distiller monitored the entire maturation process to ensure the right balance of Sauternes flavours and the sweet character of Arran malt.
TASTING NOTES
The nose is balanced, spicy and floral with hints of honey, melon, apricots, marzipan, banana and hazelnut. On the palate there are notes of honey, orange, vanilla and
sultanas. It is slightly savoury. The finish is of medium persistence with hints of orange, honey and oak.
