Grappa Veltliner 500ml PLUNHOF
VELTLINER
GRAPPA

Veltliner grappa. Veltliner, better known in Austria as Grüner Veltliner, has been cultivated since Roman times. It thrives on lean as well as on nutrient-rich soils, but needs a
sunny autumn at the end of ripening to develop its full aroma potential. In South Tyrol, the winegrowers of the Valle Isarco have specialised in its cultivation and produce
wines of fruity spiciness with notes that reach into the peppery, reminiscent of wildflowers and meadow herbs on the nose. This complex interplay of aromas also makes Zu
Plun's Veltliner Grappa a particularly interesting distillate. The marc for this single-varietal speciality also comes from the Eisack Valley, from the cultivation area around the
Neustift monastery.

Raw material: Vineyards of the Neustift area, Eisack Valley
Distilling method: discontinuous, double distilled, copper still heated in a water bath
Alcohol strength: 42% VOL.
Volume: 0,5 l
Colour clarity: crystal clear, colourless
Nose: Fruity, floral bouquet reminiscent of Gewürztraminer
Palate: Full-bodied, fruity.
Finish: Persistent
