Durum wheat semolina pasta<br /><br />Pasta Tirrena was born in the best terroir for the cultivation of ancient grains, thanks to the symbiosis of cool soil, mild climate and breezes from the Tyrrhenian Sea.<br />The mineral characteristics of the soil, combined with the knowledge of the Frescobaldi family, give this pasta a unique character.<br />The natural drying process of over 72 hours preserves the organoleptic qualities of the ancient grains. It is artisanal.<br />It is 100% Tuscan.<br /><br />Tirrena is a durum wheat semolina pasta. Semi-integral and not very refined, it is rich in fibre, polyphenols and vitamins. This guarantees it superior nutritional qualities and<br />high digestibility. Soft nougat in a box<br /><br />Scaldaferro's soft nougat is cooked in a bain-marie in ancient copper calipers for 6 hours. Afterwards it is spread by hand while still hot on a bed of wafer; it is neither<br />pressed nor rolled by machine as is the case with industrial products to maintain the softness acquired during cooking.
