BARLEY<br />Polugar (father of today's Vodka) is a grain distillate produced in ame stills, and is called Bread-Wine or Polugar. Since 1895, Russian laws have prohibited the<br />traditional distillation of cereals. The Rodionov & Sons Distilery produces Polugar in the European Union, in Poland, where radial production methods using copper stills are<br />revived.<br /><br />TASTING NOTES<br />It has a clear, silverish appearance. The nose has hints of freshly baked ane and light notes of freshly mown grass, honey and mint. On the palate, it is enveloping, sweet,<br />full and soft with its wheat notes. On the finish, hints of mint, honey and vegetables jump out.<br />
