The barrique has allowed the spicy aromas<br />to develop exceptionally well in the distillate, with very sharp notes ranging from pepper to cloves, from nutmeg to tobacco, from aniseed to liquorice. This very sharp tip<br />accompanies the heart of the raw material, which is revealed with fruity aromas of jam, fruit in syrup, baked apple, prune, sultana, almond and walnut. This is followed by a<br />hint of flowers and honey. Its extremely deep colour heralds that aromatic power and softness that are later found during tasting.<br />It is a dry and austere distillate, which does not indulge in cloying notes: the aromatic profile is dominated by spices (cloves, pepper, nutmeg, aniseed, liquorice, tobacco)<br />and hints of the barrique. However, the scents of the raw material used are not covered, but are instead accompanied by notes of plum, candied fruit and dried fruits such as<br />hazelnut and almond.
