I Frati<br />Lugana Doc<br /><br />The wine that has made the company's image known and continues to do so. It has a direct link with its variety, Turbiana, our indigenous vine. Conceived to be consumed<br />during the year, it expresses its best side many years after bottling. In its youth it is fresh, linear and endowed with great finesse and elegance with delicate notes of white<br />flowers and balsamic, hints of apricot and almond. Time allows it to evolve, expressing its mineral notes with greater determination. The wine acquires its own complexity<br />with hints of iodine, spices and candied fruit. In the mouth it is capable of enveloping the whole palate thanks to an important savoury essence accompanied by lively and<br />exuberant acidity. Fermentation and ageing for 12 months in used barriques.<br />About the wine: the sweet wine cuvée ARUNA is a unique and distinctive meditation wine. Gewürztraminer is considered one of the most difficult grape varieties in the<br />vineyard - Goldmuskateller only develops its delicate aroma in exceptionally good locations. These demanding wines are united at the highest level in the 'Passito' ARUNA.<br />The overwhelming play of aromas shows mountain apricots, Williams pear, lavender honey and ripe exotic fruits. The Gewürztraminer brings extract sweetness and<br />structure. The Goldmuskateller adds dynamic freshness to the wine. The juicy fruit finish is accompanied by a stimulating, vibrant acid-sugar interplay, making for a<br />wonderfully balanced drinking experience. Chardonnay LAFÓA 2022<br />Alto Adige Chardonnay DOC<br /><br />The grapes for this Chardonnay grow on old vines with very small yield. The vineyards are situated at an altitude of 400 to 550 m a.s.l. on dry morainic soils. A sinewy but<br />elegant Chardonnay with great potential for aging. Tasting notes: Of a pale intense straw yellow colour tinged with green nuances; a full but well- integrated wine, imbued<br />with honeydew melon, creamy fruit salad and nutty aromas; ample acidity with a delicate underlay of oak on the palate and a long, luscious finish.<br /><br />Cellaring potential: 6-10 years.<br />Food Combination: This full-bodied wine is perfect on its own, but an incredible complement to rich fish dishes such as poached skate with mint cream sauce, Dover sole,<br />Cicatelli pasta with fresh crab, stirfried scallops with ginger and the perfect partner to chicken and veal.<br /><br />Serve lightly chilled: 12-14° C.<br />Grape Variety: Chardonnay; old espalier-trained vines. Location: Selected vineyards at an altitude of approx. 400-550 m a.s.l. Straw yellow colour with greenish highlights. Complex, very fine bouquet, with pleasant fruity notes of citrus and peach.<br />Dry, pleasantly fresh flavour with a good, balanced structure.<br />Pairings<br /><br />Excellent as an aperitif and with fried prawns or escalopes alla livornese.<br /> <br /><br /> <br />More Info<br /><br />The most known and traditional Altemasi label is the Millesimato, sparkling Traditional Method Blanc de Blancs, whose mark is the elegance obtained from the long<br />maturation on the yeasts (over 24 months). TYPE: Valle de Colchagua DO - ' Cabernet '.<br /><br />PRODUCTION AREA: Colchagua Valley - Peralillo<br /><br />VINE: Cabernet Sauvignon 100%.<br /><br />SOIL TYPE: Soil of volcanic origin, made up of sandy-clayey soil and granite sand.<br /><br />AGE OF THE VINEYARDS: at the beginning of the '90s important replanting works were carried out, the vineyard is subdivided into two parts: the first one is in the middle of<br />the vineyard and the second one is in the middle of the vineyard.<br /><br />VINIFICATION: vinification is carried out according to the traditional Bordeaux method. The grapes are placed in stainless steel tanks for fermentation at a controlled<br />temperature between 25° and 27°C. This is followed by 10-15 days of maceration, during which several repassings are carried out to allow a delicate extraction of the<br />phenolic compounds. The wine is then left to mature for three months in stainless steel tanks to obtain its unique fruity style.<br /><br />COLOUR: intense ruby red<br /><br />BOUQUET: in addition to the typical and varietal herbaceous notes, which are otherwise fine and elegant, the nose displays hints of plums, cherries and small red fruits,<br />followed by spicy and vanilla nuances.<br /><br />PAIRINGS: Perfect with savoury first courses and grilled red meats, this wine is ideal with mature cheeses.
