<br />South Tyrol DOC<br />Pinot Blanc<br />Schulthauser<br /><br />Pinot Blanc has been cultivated in its second home, South Tyrol, since 1850 and has been one of the most important wines of our winery ever since. Schulthauser was first<br />bottled in 1982 and has since become one of South Tyrol's best-known Pinot Blancs. It is a harmonious, fresh wine with fruity notes that seduces the palate with its<br />creaminess and distinctive acidity.<br /><br />Eye: Straw yellow with green shimmer.<br />Nose: clear fruit nuances of apple, apricot and pear.<br />Palate: lively and balanced with a creamy fruitiness<br />Variety description: Pinot blanc<br />Growing region: Site: Vineyards in 'Schulthaus' above Schloss Moos in Eppan/Berg (540-620m)<br />Exposure: Southeast<br />Soils: Calcareous gravel soils with loam<br />Method of cultivation: Guyot and Pergel<br />Vine age: 10 to 40 years<br />Harvest: End of September, harvest and grape selection by hand.<br />Vinification: The majority (85%) is fermented in steel tanks, the rest in wooden barrels followed by biological acid reduction. In February, the two wines are blended.<br />Drinking temperature: 8-10°.<br />Storage/potential: 4 to 5 years<br />Recommended consumption: An exclusive aperitif and summer wine, but also a versatile food companion: it tastes good with seafood and fish, as well as with delicate<br />dishes of wild fowl. It is particularly recommended with South Tyrolean Schlutzkrapfen.<br />

South Tyrol DOC<br />Chardonnay<br />Fallwind<br /><br />The Chardonnay grape variety is one of the most renowned among white wine varieties and prefers warm, sun-drenched sites. Our vineyards offer ideal conditions for a<br />Chardonnay Fallwind that stands out for its fullness, silky elegance and harmonious balance between acidity and softness. It is accompanied by a hint of ripe fruit. The best<br />prerequisites for enjoyable drinking experiences.<br /><br />Eye: Straw yellow with green reflections.<br />Nose: fruity scent of melon and ripe apples<br />Taste: velvety, buttery, soft<br /><br />Growing area:<br />Site: various vineyards in the municipality of Appiano (420-500m).<br />Exposure: southeast, southwest<br />Soils: calcareous gravel and moraine debris soils<br />Method of cultivation: Guyot<br /><br />The majority (75%) is fermented in steel tanks, the rest (25%) in wooden barrels followed by malolactic fermentation. Barolo Chinato<br />For about 21 days, small pieces of China Calissaia and China Succirubra bark are steeped in an infusion of alcohol and a very small amount of our classic Barolo. We<br />then add a mixture of aromatic spices including gentian root, rhubarb, cardamom seeds, sweet and bitter orange, cinnamon and others, which make up our historic<br />Family Recipe. To the aromatic extract thus obtained we finally add the right amount of our classic Barolo, a little sugar and alcohol and leave it to refine for at least 4<br />months in small stainless steel containers. After resting in the bottle for at least 2 months, our Barolo Chinato is ready to be enjoyed in the Piedmontese way, i.e. after<br />meals as a digestif.<br />

2018 CHATEAU CROIX MOUTON 'BORDEAUX SUPERIEUR'<br />THE YEAR.<br />The M printed on the label of this fine-tasting and fleshy Bordeaux Supérieur wine marks the personality and particularities of each vintage and changes colour every year.<br />This cuvée from Château Croix Mouton, which dominates the Dordogne, is made exclusively from Merlot, the emblematic grape variety of the right bank of the Garonne,<br />and has a deep ruby red colour with beautiful shiny reflections. On the palate, small, acidic red fruits (mainly red plum, cherry) follow one another. On the palate it is full-<br />bodied and juicy, full of charming finesse. This wine is best appreciated when young, when its fruity bouquet shows all its vivacity.<br />THE CHÂTEAU CROIX MOUTON ESTATE<br />Château Croix Mouton is located in the town of Lugon on the right bank of the Bordeaux River and covers almost 70 hectares of vines. It is owned by the Janoueix family<br />and thrives on the clayey soil of Carney Island. The 2019 grape varieties focus on Merlot (96%), complemented by Cabernet Franc (2.5%), Malbec (1%) and Petit Verdot<br />(0.5%). The vines are on average 38 years old. The planting density is about 3,600 to 6,000 vines per hectare.<br />The work in the vineyard is meticulous and includes tillage, grassing, thinning and some leaf thinning. After sorting at harvest, vinification takes place in concrete and<br />stainless steel tanks with openings and regular puncturing. Fermentation takes place under temperature control (maximum 26-27 °C). The maturation period is between<br />three weeks and one month. Maturation lasts between three and four months on the fine lees in barrels (20%) and in vats with or without wood (80%).<br />The top Bordeaux produced by the estate are pleasant, fruity wines that tend to be drunk at a young age. Gourmet and fleshy wines that are also quite accessible.<br />

The<br />maturatThe story of Ampélia is about a meeting, a challenge and a conviction.<br />In 1996, three years before acquiring the lands of Ampélia, François Despagne inherited the<br />Grand Corbin-Despagne estate from his family, making it the seventh generation of his<br />family at the helm of this Saint-Emilion property.<br />François then eagerly sought a new challenge and created a new vineyard -this time, not in<br />Saint-Emilion, but in Castillon - Côtes de Bordeaux, the bordering appellation.ion period is between three weeks and one month. This grape variety most likely originates from Germany and was introduced to South Tyrol around 1900; today it is mainly cultivated in the Eisack Valley. The Sylvaner<br />grape feels particularly at home in the not too high, airy and warm slopes of the central Valle Isarco. The shallow, gravelly, weathered soils give the wine its incomparable<br />delicacy and elegance, which, although reminiscent of the wines of the same name on the other side of the Alps, unmistakably reflects the peculiarity of the Valle Isarco.<br /><br /><br />Grape variety: Sylvaner<br />Growing altitude: 520 - 850 m<br />Soil: mineral-rich, gravelly diorite and quartz phyllite weathered soils<br />Vinification: gentle processing and pressing, temperature-controlled fermentation and ageing on fine yeast in stainless steel tanks, no malolactic fermentation<br /><br /><br />Colour: light lemon yellow<br />Taste: dry, aromatic, pleasantly fresh with a balanced body<br />Aroma: delicate, typical of the variety, fruity, of peach, apple, apricot<br />
