Schulthauser was first<br />bottled in 1982 and has since become one of South Tyrol's best-known Pinot Blancs. It is a harmonious, fresh wine with fruity notes that seduces the palate with its<br />creaminess and distinctive acidity.<br /><br />Eye: Straw yellow with green shimmer.<br />Nose: clear fruit nuances of apple, apricot and pear.<br />Palate: lively and balanced with a creamy fruitiness<br />Variety description: Pinot blanc<br />Growing region: Site: Vineyards in 'Schulthaus' above Schloss Moos in Eppan/Berg (540-620m)<br />Exposure: Southeast<br />Soils: Calcareous gravel soils with loam<br />Method of cultivation: Guyot and Pergel<br />Vine age: 10 to 40 years<br />Harvest: End of September, harvest and grape selection by hand.<br />Vinification: The majority (85%) is fermented in steel tanks, the rest in wooden barrels followed by biological acid reduction. In February, the two wines are blended.<br />Drinking temperature: 8-10°.<br />Storage/potential: 4 to 5 years<br />Recommended consumption: An exclusive aperitif and summer wine, but also a versatile food companion: it tastes good with seafood and fish, as well as with delicate<br />dishes of wild fowl. It is particularly recommended with South Tyrolean Schlutzkrapfen.<br />

Our vineyards offer ideal conditions for a<br />Chardonnay Fallwind that stands out for its fullness, silky elegance and harmonious balance between acidity and softness. It is accompanied by a hint of ripe fruit. <br />VARIETY:<br />CHARDONNAY<br />VINEYARDS:<br />From our Family's own vineyards at Cascina Il Bricco in Treiso, in the Barbaresco area, and at Colombaro in Serralunga d'Alba in the Barolo area, which from the 2019<br />harvest will be replaced by Vigna Mosconi, in Monforte d'Alba, also in the Barolo area. Since 1985 it has represented our family's desire to produce a white wine with body,<br />complexity and longevity like the great red wines of our terroirs.<br />VINIFICATION AND AGING:<br />The Chardonnay is harvested in boxes, gently pressed and briefly decanted cold. It ferments and stays for 10 months on the lees in barriques made of only 1/3 new wood.<br />It then stays in the bottle.<br />NOTES:<br />Spicy, creamy, intense, persistent, ripe, still fresh, non-invasive wood. Long-lived. Produced in small quantities each year.<br />

I Frati<br />Lugana Doc<br /><br />The wine that has made the company's image known and continues to do so. It has a direct link with its variety, Turbiana, our indigenous vine. Conceived to be consumed<br />during the year, it expresses its best side many years after bottling. In its youth it is fresh, linear and endowed with great finesse and elegance with delicate notes of white<br />flowers and balsamic, hints of apricot and almond. Time allows it to evolve, expressing its mineral notes with greater determination. The wine acquires its own complexity<br />with hints of iodine, spices and candied fruit. In the mouth it is capable of enveloping the whole palate thanks to an important savoury essence accompanied by lively and<br />exuberant acidity. This grape variety most likely originates from Germany and was introduced to South Tyrol around 1900; today it is mainly cultivated in the Eisack Valley. The Sylvaner<br />grape feels particularly at home in the not too high, airy and warm slopes of the central Valle Isarco. <br /><br />The AMOS cuvée shows the terroir potential of the high Kurtatsch sites. AMOS is composed of the best hand-picked white grapes from the coolest vineyards between 600<br />and 900 metres above sea level.<br /><br />It is precisely this interplay of varieties and sites that makes AMOS so unique in character and style. In order to preserve the mountain freshness, barriques were not used.<br />The long fine yeast storage in large wood provides additional complexity. The neutral Burgundy varieties form the compact foundation (70%) Kerner and Sauvignon give the<br />wine its seductive bouquet of white peach, apricot, blossom and citrus fruit. At about 100 m above sea level. The climate is characterized by a good thermal excursion between day and night.<br />Soil: Shallow and medium-fine texture<br />Harvest: August<br />Vinification: The grapes are destemmed and left in cryo-maceration for a few hours. The next step is the soft pressing of the pomace followed by a cold static decantation.<br />Alcoholic fermentation takes place in French oak barriques.<br />Aging: On the lees in French oak barriques for 4 months with weekly bâtonnage<br />Tasting notes: Straw yellow color with golden reflections; a bouquet with persuasive floral and peach scents and then delicate vanilla pervade the nose.
