It is accompanied by a hint of ripe fruit. I Frati<br />Lugana Doc<br /><br />The wine that has made the company's image known and continues to do so. It has a direct link with its variety, Turbiana, our indigenous vine. Conceived to be consumed<br />during the year, it expresses its best side many years after bottling. In its youth it is fresh, linear and endowed with great finesse and elegance with delicate notes of white<br />flowers and balsamic, hints of apricot and almond. Time allows it to evolve, expressing its mineral notes with greater determination. The wine acquires its own complexity<br />with hints of iodine, spices and candied fruit. In the mouth it is capable of enveloping the whole palate thanks to an important savoury essence accompanied by lively and<br />exuberant acidity. This grape variety most likely originates from Germany and was introduced to South Tyrol around 1900; today it is mainly cultivated in the Eisack Valley. The Sylvaner<br />grape feels particularly at home in the not too high, airy and warm slopes of the central Valle Isarco. <br /><br />The AMOS cuvée shows the terroir potential of the high Kurtatsch sites. AMOS is composed of the best hand-picked white grapes from the coolest vineyards between 600<br />and 900 metres above sea level.<br /><br />It is precisely this interplay of varieties and sites that makes AMOS so unique in character and style. In order to preserve the mountain freshness, barriques were not used.<br />The long fine yeast storage in large wood provides additional complexity. The neutral Burgundy varieties form the compact foundation (70%) Kerner and Sauvignon give the<br />wine its seductive bouquet of white peach, apricot, blossom and citrus fruit. Description:<br />Aroma of fully ripe wild berries and dark chocolate. Very dense and complex with fine tannins. Elegant Merlot with very good ageing potential.<br />Ageing potential: 6 - 8 years.<br />Recommended food: Goes well with hearty roasted or grilled meats with root vegetables and spicy dark sauces, as well as game dishes and cheeses.<br />Serving temperature: 16° C.<br />Grape variety: Merlot. The grapes come from 20-year-old trellised vineyards with a planting density of approx. 5,000 vines/ha.<br />Sites: Sun-exposed slope. Extremely dry and heat-retaining quartz porphyry weathered soil that only allows low yields.<br />Vinification: Must fermentation at 28-30° C in stainless steel tanks. Gentle circulation of grape skins and juice is used to achieve optimal extraction of colour and extract<br />substances. Further ageing takes place entirely in small wooden barrels for about 12 months. After gentle filling and 12 months of bottle ageing, the wine is put on sale.<br />

Réserve della Contessa - the feminine wine.<br /><br />Its secret is fineness and elegance, one almost wants to say noblesse. A white wine of delicate colour and delicate aromas, as if made to accompany festive hours.<br /><br />Grape varieties: Pinot Blanc 60 %, Chardonnay 30 %, Sauvignon Blanc 10 % (Terlaner).<br />Colour: strong yellow with greenish reflections.<br />Aroma and taste: fresh scent of apples, apricots and a hint of sage. Dense and elegant, with a lot of melting, long lasting.<br />Site and soil: Two thirds of the grapes come from Lieben Aich in Terlan and one third from Campan in Kaltern. In Terlan Lieben Aich we have a warm west-facing slope at<br />300 m above sea level, with water-permeable, sandy loam soil on porphyry weathered rock. Kaltern Campan is a cool, east-facing slope at 500 m above sea level. The soil<br />is a strong loamy limestone soil with rock deposits from ice-age glaciers.<br />Vinification: The destemmed grapes remained in the press for six hours for maceration to extract aroma and structure from the skins. Fermentation took place in wooden<br />barrels, partly spontaneously, with the grape's own yeasts. During the six months of ageing on the fine lees, the aroma and flavour were refined.<br />Serving temperature: 10 - 12 °C.<br />Goes well with: starters, fish and white meat.<br />
