Rosé wine<br /><br />The southern shores of the Benaco have always preserved the tradition of a graceful, fresh and gentle wine such as Rosa dei Frati. A high-level rosé capable of surprising for<br />its simple authority. Fresh and delicate yet incisive, it is capable of being the star of the table. The nose reveals hints of hawthorn blossom, green apple, white almond and<br />wild cherry. In the mouth, it is tasty, fresh, savoury and capable of stimulating the palate thanks to its vivid acidity and hints of small red fruits. The ease of drinking invites<br />the next glass with a carefree attitude. <br />TYPOLOGY: Port<br />PRODUCTION AREA: Douro<br />RAW MATERIAL: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinto Cão, Tinta Francisca, Tinta Amarela, Sousão, Tinta Roriz and others.<br />VINIFICATION: The grapes used to produce the LBV Port come from the vineyards of Cima Corgo, an area located above the Corgo River in the Douro region. The<br />grapes are pressed in the traditional tanks called lagares, followed by maturation of the Port in large old oak vats in the cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia.<br />COLOUR: intense ruby<br />BOUQUET: Intense aroma of wild fruits, spices, notes of dark chocolate, with a slight floral profile, making it a refined and very expressive Port wine<br />PAIRINGS: perfect with desserts in which chocolate predominates, especially dark chocolate. TERRAZAS DE LOS ANDES<br />SELECTION MALBEC<br /><br />Consistent, direct and with good acidity.<br /><br />This Malbec, the emblem of Terrazas de los Andes, comes from over 100 plots in our 6 high-altitude Malbec vineyards. Its rarity lies in the unique combination of grapes<br />from the classic terroir of Las Compuertas, in Luján de Cuyo, with the more recently discovered terroirs in the Valle de Uco: Gualtallary, Los Chacayes, Paraje Altamira<br />and Eugenio Bustos, all between 1,070 and 1,200 metres above sea level. The vines are between 20 and 90 years old.<br /><br />TASTING NOTES<br />A complex and layered expression, revealing aromas of red and black fruits, subtle hints of violets and delicate toasted notes. VINEYARD<br />The vineyards are located on a southeast-facing slope 220 to 260 meters above sea level. The microclimate there is very warm. The soil is loamy with limestone gravel and<br />a layer of sand, which enables good heat storage capacity and drainage.<br /><br />VINIFICATION<br />The grapes undergo mash fermentation in a wooden fermentation barrel at 28 °C with a three-week maceration period. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged in<br />barriques for twelve months before being lightly filtered and bottled.<br /><br />TASTING NOTES<br />- intense ruby red<br />- intense nose with cinnamon and undergrowth notes, fresh forest berries such as blackberry and blackcurrant;<br />- strong but fine-grained tannin; powerful with a lot of smoothness, fine tobacco and licorice notes on the finish, elegant finish;<br /><br />RECOMMENDATION<br />Goes well with a juicy beef tagliata with arugula and parmesan shavings, venison fillet with walnut crust and red cabbage, braised beef roulades with potato noodles and<br />flavorful cheese.<br />
