Our vineyards offer ideal conditions for a<br />Chardonnay Fallwind that stands out for its fullness, silky elegance and harmonious balance between acidity and softness. It is accompanied by a hint of ripe fruit. The best<br />prerequisites for enjoyable drinking experiences.<br /><br />Eye: Straw yellow with green reflections.<br />Nose: fruity scent of melon and ripe apples<br />Taste: velvety, buttery, soft<br /><br />Growing area:<br />Site: various vineyards in the municipality of Appiano (420-500m).<br />Exposure: southeast, southwest<br />Soils: calcareous gravel and moraine debris soils<br />Method of cultivation: Guyot<br /><br />The majority (75%) is fermented in steel tanks, the rest (25%) in wooden barrels followed by malolactic fermentation. <br />VARIETY:<br />CHARDONNAY<br />VINEYARDS:<br />From our Family's own vineyards at Cascina Il Bricco in Treiso, in the Barbaresco area, and at Colombaro in Serralunga d'Alba in the Barolo area, which from the 2019<br />harvest will be replaced by Vigna Mosconi, in Monforte d'Alba, also in the Barolo area. Since 1985 it has represented our family's desire to produce a white wine with body,<br />complexity and longevity like the great red wines of our terroirs.<br />VINIFICATION AND AGING:<br />The Chardonnay is harvested in boxes, gently pressed and briefly decanted cold. It ferments and stays for 10 months on the lees in barriques made of only 1/3 new wood.<br />It then stays in the bottle.<br />NOTES:<br />Spicy, creamy, intense, persistent, ripe, still fresh, non-invasive wood. Long-lived. Produced in small quantities each year.<br />

VARIETY:<br />NEBBIOLO 100%<br />VINEYARDS:<br />Our Barolo is the result of a careful selection of Nebbiolo grapes from vineyards owned by our family, located in different positions within the Barolo area: in Serralunga<br />d'Alba (Cascina Ornato, La Serra and Briccolina), in Grinzane Cavour (Gustava and Garretti), in La Morra (Roncaglie), in Novello (Ravera) and, since the 2015 harvest, in<br />Monforte d'Alba (Mosconi).<br />VINIFICATION:<br />In steel. Maceration on the skins for about 30 days at fairly high temperatures.<br />AGING:<br />In French and Slavonian oak barrels for about 30 months and a small part in barriques.<br />NOTES:<br />A very classic style Barolo: elegance and finesse, ripe and spicy fruit, important but not overpowering tannins, good structure and concentration. Very long-lived. Ours is<br />not a basic Barolo, but has always been, and as tradition has it, the most faithful expression of the various great terroirs of the Barolo zone.<br />

This grape variety most likely originates from Germany and was introduced to South Tyrol around 1900; today it is mainly cultivated in the Eisack Valley. The Sylvaner<br />grape feels particularly at home in the not too high, airy and warm slopes of the central Valle Isarco.
