VARIETY<br />100% Pinot Noir<br /><br />VINIFICATION<br />Traditional temperature controlled fermentation for about 10 days in stainless steel tanks. Afterwards, malolactic fermentation and maturation take place partially in large oak<br />barrels of 22hl and stainless steel tanks.<br /><br />TASTING NOTES<br />Our Pinot Nero Elena Walch shines in clear, fresh ruby red. A fruity play of aromas of red berries, cherries and raspberries as well as spicy notes with some white pepper<br />characterizes the bouquet. In the mouth, the wine convinces with juicy structure and inviting freshness, with soft, velvety tannins, discreet spices in the background and a<br />youthful, elegant finish.<br /><br />TERROIR<br />A deliberate combination of vineyards in warmer locations around the 400m blended with material from altitudes of up to 600m. Limestone and porphyry soils in south-<br />eastern and south-western orientation. Severe selection employed.<br /><br />VINTAGE 2023<br />We are delighted with an interesting 2023 vintage! Even though we have experienced a challenging growing season with alternating warm and cool periods with some rain,<br />we have had a fantastic harvest season with the best possible weather conditions for ripening. After a midsummery June and July, followed by high rainfall at the beginning of<br />August, the grapes were able to benefit and ripen for a long time from the optimal conditions with plenty of sunshine. Harvest began late in early September with ideal<br />weather conditions<br />which were only replaced by more unstable weather towards the end. Warm daytime temperatures and cool nights allowed the grapes to reach optimum ripeness with<br />balanced acidity levels and clear fruit, and good<br />structure.<br /><br />FOOD PAIRING<br />The ideal companion to hearty starters, dishes based on beef or vanison and spicy cheeses.<br /><br />Appellation: Alto Adige DOC<br />Alcohol: 13,00 % Vol.<br />

Campaner Cabernet Sauvignon Riserva DOC 2021<br /><br />Broad as a horizon. Colourful as a winter sunset. And the colour is joy.<br /><br /><br /><br />Vintage: in many respects 2021 was a demanding and challenging wine growing year. The winter months were mainly sunny but very cold. In spring the temperature was<br />slow to rise, and that delayed the vegetative development of the vines. This was only partly compensated by the warm and sunny start to the summer, while the weather in<br />July and August was very varied. The grape harvest accordingly began relatively late, on September 9. The wet September was an organizational problem for our wine<br />growers, but ultimately a very good harvest was completed on October 26.<br /><br />Tasting notes<br /><br />- dark, ruby red<br />- ripe blackberries, wild cherries and chocolate on the nose<br />- a powerful beginning on the palate, with increasing tannins, prominent fruit and a long, lingering finish<br /><br />Recommendation: this wine pairs perfectly with red meats, game and piquant cheeses.<br /><br />Vinification: fermentation on the skins at 28 °C, two week extended maceration, malolactic and 16 month aging in barrique (1/4 new oak), a light filtration before bottling.<br /><br />Vineyard: steep, southerly exposed slopes at 250 - 350 meters above sea level. <br /><br />The Brenntal vineyard is located in the north of the village of Kurtatsch and is one of the warmest sites (up to 40° C) in South Tyrol. The vines of the steep slope with intense<br />sunlight stand on red, sandy loam soil.<br /><br />In the evening, the fleshy grapes are cooled by refreshing fall winds. This unique terroir produces a Merlot that captivates with its power and dark berry fruit (cranberries,<br />blackberries), but at the same time retains its alpine character (green tea, white pepper). The fruit on the palate is joined by a dense, velvety tannin. The delicate acidity<br />gives the wine its precise balance with an impressively long finish.<br /><br />Merlot BRENNTAL: the unique one.<br />Vinification: Temperature-controlled fermentation in red wine tanks, ageing in French barriques for 15 months. Lagrein, genetically related to Syrah, is the oldest autochthonous grape variety in South Tyrol. In the hot, deep vineyards in the south of South Tyrol, the heat-loving Lagrein<br />finds its suitable habitat.<br />The FRAUENHÜGEL has a seductive fruitiness of wild berries, elderberries, black cherries and cocoa beans. The wine is enriched with balsamic tannins during ageing in<br />barrique barrels. The noble roasted aromas and the vital acidity are harmoniously combined with the powerful fruit body. The clayey soil is responsible for its typical terroir<br />characteristics, which lend the fruity finish a piquant spiciness (liquorice) and its individual earthy note.<br />FRAUENHÜGEL: the powerful one.<br /><br />Grape variety: Lagrein<br />Vinification: Temperature-controlled fermentation in red wine tanks and ageing in French barriques for 12 months. Sauvignon 2022 La Foa...

Description: very intense fruity notes reminiscent of elder, acacia flowers and sage; combined with fine wood aromas; a wine with pithy acidity and a persistent finish.<br />Ageing potential: 6-10 years.<br />Recommended food: Ideal accompaniment to herb and fish dishes. Spicy white meat dishes and fresh cheese.<br />Serving temperature: 12 - 14° C.<br />Grape variety: Sauvignon blanc.<br />Sites: The vineyards are located on a rather dry site with optimal sun exposure and a sandy, gravelly moraine soil.<br />Vinification: After a short maceration period, the fully ripe grapes are gently pressed. Half of the must ferments in stainless steel vats while the remaining part is matured in<br />wooden barrels/barriques. Only this second part undergoes partial malolactic fermentation. TYPE: Valle de Colchagua DO - ' Cabernet '.<br /><br />PRODUCTION AREA: Colchagua Valley - Peralillo<br /><br />VINE: Cabernet Sauvignon 100%.<br /><br />SOIL TYPE: Soil of volcanic origin, made up of sandy-clayey soil and granite sand.<br /><br />AGE OF THE VINEYARDS: at the beginning of the '90s important replanting works were carried out, the vineyard is subdivided into two parts: the first one is in the middle of<br />the vineyard and the second one is in the middle of the vineyard.<br /><br />VINIFICATION: vinification is carried out according to the traditional Bordeaux method. The grapes are placed in stainless steel tanks for fermentation at a controlled<br />temperature between 25° and 27°C. This is followed by 10-15 days of maceration, during which several repassings are carried out to allow a delicate extraction of the<br />phenolic compounds. The wine is then left to mature for three months in stainless steel tanks to obtain its unique fruity style.<br /><br />COLOUR: intense ruby red<br /><br />BOUQUET: in addition to the typical and varietal herbaceous notes, which are otherwise fine and elegant, the nose displays hints of plums, cherries and small red fruits,<br />followed by spicy and vanilla nuances.<br /><br />PAIRINGS: Perfect with savoury first courses and grilled red meats, this wine is ideal with mature cheeses. Excellent with roast guinea fowl.<br /><br />FLAVOUR: full-bodied and velvety on the palate, with soft and well-integrated tannins.<br />
