Grape variety: red, blend of black varieties.<br />Production area: La Sabla, Bufferia and Sazzé di Aymavilles.<br />Age from 20 to 70 years.<br />Soil (type, exposure, altitude): morainic, loose, sandy, steeply sloping with western exposure. Altitude 500/750 metres above sea level.<br />First year of production: 1971.<br />Annual bottles produced: 25,000.<br />Area, training system, planting density, yield: about 4.0 hectares; Guyot system; planting of 8,000 feet per hectare, rows of vines with a cordon and row pattern. Yield<br />8,000 kg/ha. Harvest: by hand, at the end of October.<br />Vinification: Destalking of the grapes, fermentation for 8 days in stainless steel at a temperature of 26 °C with daily remontages. Maturation in stainless steel for 8 months<br />and refinement for 5 months in bottle.<br />Tasting notes: intense ruby colour. On the nose fruity (raspberry) and floral (violet). Fresh and fruity on the palate, with soft tannins and hints of raspberry. Persistent<br />finish. Accompaniments: starters, first courses, cured meats, red meats, medium mature cheeses.<br />Fact: Produced by the Charrère family since 1971, this is the winery's historic wine and is today, as then, a skilful blend of red grape varieties grown in the old vineyards.<br />Sabla means sand in the local dia-lectum, due to the sandy composition of the soil.<br />Serving temperature: 16/18 °C.<br />

Hebo<br />Merlot 55%, Cabernet Sauvignon 20%, Cabernet<br />Franc 10% e Sangiovese 15%<br /><br />The name of an Etruscan settlement of ancient origin, Hebo recalls the historical roots of Suvereto.<br /><br />It is produced from a classic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese, vines introduced to the area by Elisa Bonaparte Baciocchi, princess of Piombino from<br />1805 and enlightened woman of wine.<br /><br />The ruby colour is bright, the aromas reveal fresh scents of sour cherries, violets and blueberries, before turning to seductive mineral hints and nuances of Mediterranean<br />scrub.<br /><br />On the palate, the wine is structured but fresh, savoury and with good momentum. The finish is pleasantly fruity, delicate in its savoury character and with gentle tannins.<br /><br />Production methodSun, wind and three complementary soils<br />The production method is rigorously aimed at defending the territorial connotation.<br /><br />The grapes are harvested in boxes, fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts and vinification takes place in steel tanks. The wine is aged for about a year in<br />Slavonian oak barrels and a small percentage of used barriques. Refinement in the bottle lasts 6 months.<br /><br />Alcohol: 13.5 % - Total acidity 5.6 - pH 3.65<br />

The historic vineyard is part of the monastery complex, where the vines stand on pure alluvial material<br />from the Talfer and a subsoil of Bolzano quartz porphyry. IN THE CELLAR<br />After fermentation and acid reduction in stainless steel, the wine is aged in new barrique barrels for 22 months, followed by harmonisation in enamelled steel tanks and<br />careful bottling after light filtration.<br />TASTING NOTES<br />The Klosteranger appears in deep garnet red and seduces with a bouquet of concentrated aromas. It is surprisingly lively and fruity on the nose with notes of coffee and<br />black berries as well as a hint of raspberries. On the palate, it convinces with grippy tannins, fresh acidity, delicate as well as elegant fullness and depth. Our single-<br />vineyard Lagrein is wonderfully complex, long-lasting and pampers the palate with a multi-layered structure. Pinot Nero Ludwig 2021<br />Alto Adige DOC<br />The long history of the Pinot Nero in Alto Adige has accompanied the development of the wine region.<br />Elena Walch's Pinot Nero 'Ludwig' was created with the 2001 vintage, from grapes of old vines, some of<br />which were even planted as Pergola. The small production of 10,000 bottles indicates the strict selection of<br />the plots to produce a classic, complex Pinot Nero of the highest quality. The many national and<br />international awards for Pinot Nero 'Ludwig', including the highest award of the 12th and 19th Italian Pinot<br />Nero Competition in 2013 and 2020, confirm the winemaker's great commitment to this noble grape variety.<br />The Pinot Noir Ludwig presents itself with a full ruby red color and with elegant concentration and<br />complexity. Fresh fruit notes of heart cherries and redcurrants as well as the spicy hint of pepper and elegant<br />roasted notes characterize the bouquet. On the palate, the wine unfolds its full power and elegance with gripping<br />tannins, a filigree structure and harmonious interplay between subtle spice and elegant freshness - with inviting<br />length and great aging potential<br />VINTAGE 2021<br />We are excited about a qualitatively excellent vintage, especially for our white wines! A dry and<br />cool spring led to a late flowering of the vines and was followed by a warm and dry June. After<br />an irregular midsummer, a surprising change in the weather followed in mid-August, which<br />brought dream weather until the end of September and the very best conditions for achieving<br />an optimal maturity of the grapes. The harvest began in mid-September, about 10 days later<br />than last year. With blue skies and lots of sunshine, midsummer daytime temperatures and<br />autumnally cool nights, the grapes were able to achieve ideal sugar levels while maintaining very<br />good acidity. Accordingly, the 2021 wines show great quality!<br />VINIFICATION<br />Traditional fermentation, partially in large Slovenia<br />oak vats, partially in stainless steel tanks. Malolactic<br />fermentation follows and, the final wine matures in<br />French oak barrels for another 12 months. Since<br />2015, a state-of-the-art fermentation cellar has<br />allowed the grapes to be processed with the utmost<br />care, with whole-grape processing using via gravity<br />fed technology. A highly sensitive destemmer and the<br />gentle transport of the grapes by means of a<br />specialized container, cuvon, which runs on rails, prove to be very gentle on the grapes and<br />preserve their high quality. The State-of-the-Art building is certainly unique in Alto Adige, and<br />is probably one of the most modern fermentation cellars in Italy to produce great red wines of<br />excellence.<br />Alcohol: 13.50% vol.<br />Total acidity: 5,7 g/L<br />Residual sugar: 1,9 g/L<br />Grape variety: 100% Pinot Noir<br />
