Franciacorta Secolo Novo...

Franciacorta Secolo Novo...

Brigantia - Franciacorta Satén Millesimato

Alkohol: 13% Vol.
Residual sugar: 10gr/lt
Grape varieties used: Chardonnay in purity
Training system: Guyot 90/100 cm from the ground
Planting system: 2.5×0.85 m
Plant density: 4,500/5,000 plants/ha
Average grape yield per hectare: about 100 q.li per hectare
Grape selection: in the vineyard with manual harvesting into crates of a maximum of 18 kg.
White vinification in pneumatic press with soft pressing of the whole grapes and separation of the 1st and 2nd fractions. After static and physical separation from the
impurities of the must at low temperatures, selected yeasts are inoculated for fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. This is followed by racking and
lowering the temperature to around 10°C to avoid malolactic fermentation. Once the 'draught syrup' has been added, which contains a maximum of 18gr/lt of sugar to
enhance the softness and 'silkiness' of the wine, it is bottled, corked with a crown cap and laid down in a pile for frothing.
Ageing in bottles: 36 months on average

Beautiful, bright straw yellow, where gold peeps out, minute effervescence, great continuity.

The bouquet is initially shy, opening gently with notes of vanilla and white chocolate, followed by wild flowers and chamomile, then almond milk and white pepper, closing
with chalky scents and oyster water.
On the palate it is creamy, the effervescence denotes great envelopment; it has excellent persistence, complete, tasty and rich in nuances of pastries, ripe yellow fruit, at
times exotic and citrus meringues.
To be served at 6-8° in a medium-sized goblet; a wine that is not afraid of rising temperatures.
It can be served on the table just about anywhere, from starters inspired by the woods, such as a carpaccio of porcini mushrooms, or meat tartare, even game, such as
venison, or tartare or carpaccio of fish and shellfish with spicy condiments, pepper and ginger.
Going down the boot you can think of combining it with dishes that use spicy ingredients, to enhance its creamy side.
If you want to accompany its creamy, milky notes, you could pair it with a cheese made from mixed milks, the three-milk tome or some mature robiola.
Pinot noir DOC 2018 750ml...

Pinot Noir 'Ludwig' 2018
South Tyrol DOC

The long history of Pinot Noir in South Tyrol has accompanied the development of the wine region. Elena Walch's Pinot Noir 'Ludwig' was created with the 2001 vintage,
from grapes of old vines in cooler sites, some of which are even still planted as Pergel. The small production of 10,000 bottles indicates the strict selection of plots to
produce a classic, complex Burgundy of the highest quality. The many national and international awards for the Pinot Noir 'Ludwig', including the top award of the 12th and
19th Italian Pinot Noir Competition in 2013 and in 2020, confirm the winemaker's great commitment to the noble grape variety.

'The Pinot Noir 'Ludwig' presents itself with a fresh, strong ruby red as well as with elegant concentration and complexity. concentration and complexity. Fresh fruity notes
with heart cherries and red currants as well as spicy spicy aromas with a little pepper and elegant toasted aromas define the bouquet. On the palate, the wine and elegance
with firm tannins, a fruity and delicate structure and a harmonious interplay between
and a harmonious interplay between discreet spiciness and youthful, juicy freshness - with great potential and inviting length.

COURSE OF THE 2018 VINTAGE
The 2018 wine year presents itself as an outstanding vintage with excellent
quality. After a long winter, the vegetation phase - with budding in mid
April - somewhat later than in previous years. A rainy but warm phase but warm phase until the beginning of flowering at the end of May made up for this delay.
The harvest finally began in fine weather at the end of August - a few cooler weeks in mid to late August had
A few cooler weeks in mid to late August had delayed the start of harvesting by a few days after the very hot and dry weeks in July. This was followed by a golden autumn
with sunny and warm days and thus the ideal phenolic ripeness could be waited for each individual variety. Even cool nights were crucial for maintaining acidity and
freshness, especially for the white wines. A great vintage in South Tyrol!
VINIFICATION:
Fermentation on the skins for 10 days in steel tanks and partly in wooden barrels. Subsequent acid degradation in wooden barrels. Maturation in barrique barrels made of
French oak barrels for a period of 13 months. A state-of-the-art fermentation cellar cellar since 2015 allows a very gentle
processing of the grapes with whole berry processing and also the
processing of whole grapes using gravity. The sensitive destemmer and the gentle transport of the grapes by means of a 'cuvon', a container on rails, prove to be extremely
gentle on the grapes and preserve their high quality. The state-of-the-art building is certainly unique in South Tyrol in this conception and is probably one of the most modern
fermenting cellars in Italy, for the production of great red wines d'excellence.
Alcohol: 13.50% vol.
Total acidity: 6.1 g/L
Residual sugar: 1,2 g/L
Grape variety: 100% Pinot Noir
Worthy Park 2007 70 cl /...

Worthy Park 2007 70 cl /...

Type: Pure Single Rum
Raw material: Molasses
Fermentation: Selected yeasts
Production method: Pot Still distillation
Ageing: Tropical
Box: Yes

Why it's different

Worthy Park 2007 is a bottling of the WPL brand, with congeners between 60 and 119 g / hLAP. Distilled in 2007 from molasses from the Worthy Park Estate's sugar cane
mill. It is a Pure Single Rum aged in the distillery's tropical climate warehouse and was bottled at 59% full cask grade, with an angel's share after 10 years of 64%. The label
shows the copper double retort still made by Scottish Forsyths for Worthy Park Distillery. No sugar, caramel or additives are added at bottling.
How to drink it

Drink it straight, letting it breathe, possibly with water to have a slight dilution at will. It can be used in blending as a 'cut' to enrich any type of classic rum-based cocktail.
Focus

Worthy Park 2007 Habitation Velier is the first bottling that bears the name of the Jamaican distillery on the label, different from the previous editions that were called
'Forsyths', inspired by the double retort copper still used for the production of all Worthy Park Estate rums. Worthy Park allocates part of its production to 'bulk' marketing,
rums which are then destined for blended rums or for selections of independent bottlers, provided that the name of the distillery is not put on their labels. The project carried
out in collaboration with Luca Gargano is not a simple independent bottling project. On the contrary, we could consider it 'dependent bottling', since the labels highlight the
fundamental points of production, such as the origin of the molasses, the type of still, the year of distillation and bottling, the percentage of angel's share, the mark,
specifying the level of esters and congeners as well as, of course, the fact that ageing takes place in a tropical climate at the distillery, information that is not usually
declared in independent bottling, since barrels are always purchased through rum merchants and never directly from the distillery. After the first editions, Worthy Park
allowed Luca to use the official name of the distillery, so from the 2007 release the name Worthy Park will always appear on the label.
