Bas-Armagnac<br /><br />Distillery<br />Dartigalongue<br /><br />Characteristics<br />The continuous still at 58% vol. and the 'Charantais' system, recognised by the 1972 decree as being of superior quality thanks to the elimination of impurities and the<br />consequent production of a more refined and elegant eau-de-vie.<br /><br />BLENDING: of eaux-de-vie aged in oak barrels for 10 to 20 years, for the oldest ones.<br /><br />Soil:<br />sandy-loamy<br /><br />Grape varieties:<br />Ugni Blanc, Baco and Folle Blanche<br /><br />Tasting notes:<br />The colour is a clear, bright amber. Notes of candied fruit, plum and oak are perceived on the nose. In the mouth, it reveals itself to be well structured with considerable<br />amplitude. The finish is rich in pastry aromas (vanilla, candied fruit) and citrus fruit.<br />
