Production method
It is the pure distillate of 34 medicinal aromatic, digestive, tonic, refreshing, antiseptic herbs among which there are thyme, absinthe, lavender, angelica, fennel, tansy, sage,
mint, balm, hyssop, lemon balm and camomile.
Expert herbalists cultivate the herbs in the fields next to the distillery until they are perfectly mature. The distillate is made with a secret method ever since 1857 so that all
the active principles of the plants are extracted completely and unaltered.
Alpestre is then left to age for a long time in Slavonia oak barrels, placed in the large cellars in Carmagnola, and then finally bottled, as pure as it comes out of the barrel,
without sugar, colouring or other additives.
