Character: The Lagrein originates from Arzenhof, hill between 300 and 400 meters above sea-level. Talus cone sloping to the southeast, with calcareous gravel, porphyry, and quartz sand (mineral components) and sufficient loam (body). Mediterranean microclimate. A saturated rubin red, a delicate aroma of berries, coccus and sour cherry and is full and velvety on the palate and long finish.
Recommendation: This wine pairs perfectly with red meats, game and piquant cheeses.
