We suggest you to taste it with very aged cheeses and chili-pepper flavored chocolate.
It works well with first courses with meat sauces, baked pasta dishes and red meats. Try it with lightly roasted tuna steak.
When served in large, relatively tall goblets with wide mouths, the wine can be uncorked a few minutes before serving; otherwise open the bottle two hours earlier.
Recommended with all types of fish, baked pasta in white sauce, fried fish.
